We are very happy to announce the 3.7.0 release of SIRF and associated software.

• SIRF 3.7.0 (tagged a few weeks ago) main features are exposing STIR’s PET list-mode reconstruction and capability to multiply with the Hessian of the objective function. See Release v3.7.0 · SyneRBI/SIRF-SuperBuild (github.com)
• The SIRF-SuperBuild 3.7.0 updates to recent versions of STIR (adding parallelproj (GPU) support for TOF PET data and improved list-mode reconstruction) and CIL (adding capabilities for stochastic optimisation) . See Release SIRF Release 3.7.0 · SyneRBI/SIRF (github.com)

Installation instructions are as usual (we recommend docker, you can build yourself, or use GitHub Codespaces). Note that we will not upload a new VM. You can update your existing VM using

               update_VM.sh -s

(have plenty of coffee ready).
